This year it was kind of a let down. By no fault of the organizers. They did all the heavy lifting while some of the partners seemed uncooperative to say the least. The reception of some of this places felt like they didn't want to be on this tour.

The place that was supposed to be the starting point didn't tell the employees the right time...you know the one that was advertised on the internet and local news? So the poor security guard was totally confused about why people came there. Called the bosses and they told him to give us a tour and he was totally out of his depth. I didn't want to make him feel ever weirder and pull out my camera.

After that I went to the Art and Industry Saloon which was lovely as ever. I didn't take many pictures there because I have so many pictures of it already.

From there I walked to the next two locations that were close together.

The painting expo at Ozanam was lovely and the hosts there were very happy to be on the tour. The sculpture expo at the Pittner School was interesting and the host was welcoming but I got the vague impression that he didn't even consider that someone came there as part of the bigger tour. I couldn't find anyone or anywhere to stamp my tour pass thing.

I didn't take any pictures at these locations except for the big chess set in the schoolyard.

From there I went to the university where there were a bunch of other museum. Namely the amateur filmmaker's museum, the videogame museum, the engineering museum and the mine flower museum.

By far the most impressive was the room with the rocks that glow in UV light.

There were a few other locations but they had very short opening windows and I missed them.
